Pro Pet Koller – that stands for high-quality products, more sustainable production, innovative development, and healthy, species-appropriate nutrition. For almost 30 years, we have been involved in the distribution of pet food for dogs and cats in the super premium segment.
Based in the Eifel region, on the edge of the national park, we employ around 90 people at three different, closely located sites. Our connection to the region and our commitment to sustainability are just as important to us as the development of innovative products based on the latest nutritional and scientific findings.
Our brands are characterized by a very high meat content and premium-quality ingredients. We have taken nature as our model for our products. All our products are grain-free and contain no artificial flavor enhancers or preservatives. The ingredients undergo rigorous testing and are gently processed in state-of-the-art production facilities to preserve vitamins and minerals. The health and well-being of your four-legged friend is our top priority. We develop natural, complete foods specifically tailored to your pet's needs. We use only high-quality raw materials, almost exclusively from German slaughterhouses. These natural combinations ensure good palatability, healthy digestion, and enjoyment of the food. Based on natural nutrition principles, we work with a high meat content and consistently avoid artificial additives. We also place great importance on the development and continuous optimization of our product range based on the latest scientific findings and the use of primarily German, food-grade raw materials.

For us, more sustainable and ecological practices do not begin with the production process, but also include the raw materials used, the packaging, the transport, the disposal and much more.
Our product lines are nutritionally balanced and grain-free. Only the finest ingredients, plenty of fresh, human-grade meat and fish, as well as fruits and vegetables, are combined with our gentle production process to create a species-appropriate diet. This combination is exactly what our beloved pets need today.

Made in Germany begins with the breeding and husbandry of the animals. We rely on long-term partnerships with our suppliers. The animals come
from both large-scale and small-scale German farms. Using domestic products and raw materials allows for shorter transport routes. This has a significant impact on the improved sustainability of our products and influences our economic operations.
The company's success story began over 30 years ago with Canadian dry food, five sled dogs, and a good nose for business. Werner Koller started by importing high-quality pet food from the USA and later from Canada.
At the same time, the sons Michael and Markus were involved in sled dog racing with their Alaskan Huskies. Since Huskies need to drink water before a race, they collaborated with a small butcher shop in nearby Düren to develop a high-energy meat product specifically tailored to the needs of these racing dogs. In our production, we place great emphasis on the quality of our products. Regional sourcing is very important to Michael and Markus Koller . For us, sustainable and environmentally friendly practices don't begin with the production process, but also encompass the raw materials used, packaging, transport, disposal, and much more. For this reason, it has been an important part of our company philosophy and our product development for many years.
To further emphasize the increased sustainability of our products, our product development team has focused intensively on reducing CO₂ emissions
To improve the product footprint, we have optimized several processes in production and logistics, resulting in significant CO₂ savings. This is, of course, contingent on maintaining product quality. Our products are distinguished by their use of the finest food-grade ingredients and are produced without artificial additives.
Products and raw materials sourced or produced domestically mean shorter transport routes and a reduced ecological footprint. Furthermore, our commitment to sustainability and ecological practices begins with the breeding and husbandry of the animals. Here, we rely on our long-standing partnerships with regional suppliers. Working with local farmers and slaughterhouses ensures short transport routes, significantly improving animal welfare.
To further emphasize our ecological and sustainable approach, we generate some of our own electricity. We use our own photovoltaic system to produce the electricity needed for our production. Any additional energy required is 100% green electricity, which we source from regional suppliers. Climate protection is important to us, and we want to make a further active contribution by reducing our CO₂ emissions. We are convinced that quality and improved sustainability are closely linked and represent not a static stage of development, but an ongoing process. Therefore, we work every day to improve our products for your dogs and our own cats.

As part of a fundraising campaign, the family-run company Pro Pet Koller donated more than 70,000 kilograms of wet food for dogs and cats to animal welfare activists throughout Germany at the end of last year.
