Pro Pet Koller – that stands for high-quality products, careful manufacturing, innovative development, and healthy, species-appropriate nutrition. For over 30 years, we have been distributing pet food for dogs and cats in the super-premium segment.
Based in the Eifel region, on the edge of the national park, we employ around 120 people at three different, closely located sites. Here, we produce using modern equipment and extensive experience – carefully, gently, and in small batches. Whenever possible, we use regional ingredients and short transport routes, thus combining efficient production with responsible business practices.
Our brands are characterized by a very high meat content and premium-quality ingredients. We have taken nature as our model for our products. All our products are grain-free and contain no artificial flavor enhancers or preservatives. The ingredients undergo rigorous testing and are gently processed in state-of-the-art production facilities to preserve vitamins and minerals. Your pet's health and well-being are our top priority. We develop natural, complete foods specifically tailored to your pet's needs. We use only high-quality raw materials, primarily from regional farms and slaughterhouses. These natural combinations ensure good palatability, healthy digestion, and a positive feeding experience. We also place great importance on the development and continuous optimization of our product range based on the latest scientific findings and the use of primarily German, food-grade ingredients.

Our product lines are nutritionally balanced and grain-free. Only the finest ingredients, including plenty of human-grade meat and fish, as well as fruits and vegetables, are combined using our gentle production process to create a species-appropriate diet. This combination is exactly what our beloved pets need today.
We use only high-quality,
food-grade raw materials. Based on the principles of natural nutrition, we consistently use a high proportion of meat. We consciously rely on high-quality, natural protein sources of food-grade quality and refrain from using, for example, feather quills or similar animal-derived ingredients.
We select healthy animals primarily from regional farms and slaughterhouses. We also prioritize short transport routes for plant-based ingredients whenever possible. Furthermore, the close proximity of our locations and suppliers allows us to maintain short distances between individual stages of our value chain.
The company's success story began over 30 years ago with Canadian dry food, five sled dogs, and a good nose for business. Werner Koller started by importing high-quality pet food from the USA and later from Canada.
At the same time, the sons Michael and Markus were involved in sled dog racing with their Alaskan Huskies. Since Huskies need to drink water before a race, they collaborated with a small butcher shop in nearby Düren to develop a high-energy meat product specifically tailored to the needs of these racing dogs. With our own production facility, Hofgut Eifel Land, we create the foundation for healthy dog and cat food from the beautiful Eifel region. Here, we produce with modern equipment and extensive experience – carefully, gently, and in small batches. Whenever possible, we use regional ingredients and short transport routes, thus combining efficient production with responsible practices.
From the selection of ingredients to the finished product, quality is our top priority. Our recipes are carefully processed, thoroughly controlled, and regularly tested by independent laboratories.
Products and raw materials sourced or produced domestically mean shorter transport routes and a reduced ecological footprint. Furthermore, our commitment to sustainability and ecological practices begins with the breeding and husbandry of the animals. Here, we rely on our long-standing partnerships with regional suppliers. Working with local farmers and slaughterhouses ensures short transport routes, significantly improving animal welfare.
To further emphasize our ecological and sustainable approach, we generate some of our own electricity. We use our own photovoltaic system to produce the electricity needed for our production. Any additional energy required is 100% green electricity, which we source from regional suppliers. Climate protection is important to us, and we want to make a further active contribution by reducing our CO₂ emissions. We are convinced that quality and improved sustainability are closely linked and represent not a static stage of development, but an ongoing process. Therefore, we work every day to improve our products for your dogs and our own cats.

A symbolic groundbreaking ceremony marks the start of a new chapter: The construction of the new production site of Hofgut Eifel Land and Pro Pet Koller lays the foundation for further growth of the traditional family business from the Eifel region.
From the community, for the community: the "Create Your Own Product" varieties from MAC's and TUNDRA are now available to retailers and end customers. Previously, dog and cat owners throughout Germany were able to determine the composition of the products.
As part of a fundraising campaign, the family-run company Pro Pet Koller donated more than 70,000 kilograms of wet food for dogs and cats to animal welfare activists throughout Germany at the end of last year.
