Since 1993 , our family business has stood for human-grade pet food and genuine family unity. Markus and Michael Koller took over the family business and continued their successful work. With new ideas, personal commitment, and a clear focus on quality, they have continuously developed and expanded – without losing sight of family values and their connection to their own production.
As a family business with our own production facilities , we combine high-quality ingredients, meticulous manufacturing, and a genuine passion for pet food. Our super premium pet food stands for quality, transparency, and strong values. It is important to us to use resources responsibly and to continuously review and improve our processes. Because for us, responsibility and love for animals simply go hand in hand.
We select healthy animals primarily from regional farms and slaughterhouses. We consciously focus on high-quality, natural, food-grade protein sources and avoid using, for example, feather quills or similar animal components. We also ensure short transport routes for plant-based ingredients whenever possible.
After the animals have been processed by our butchers and minced with the meat grinder, the meat is mixed with fruit, vegetables and other high-quality ingredients in a large mixer.
Once everything is well mixed, the food can be filled into the cans and sealed airtight.
The cans are cooked at a gentle temperature over a long period of time. This method ensures that as few vitamins and nutrients as possible are lost.
To guarantee the quality of our products, each batch is individually tested for quality according to strict criteria.
Once our cans have been labeled and packed, they are finally on their way to you!
With our own production facility, Hofgut Eifel Land , we create the foundation for healthy dog and cat food from the beautiful Eifel region. Here, we produce with modern equipment and extensive experience – carefully, gently, and in small batches. Whenever possible, we use regional ingredients and short transport routes, thus combining efficient production with responsible practices.
From the selection of ingredients to the finished product, quality is our top priority. Our recipes are carefully processed, thoroughly inspected, and regularly tested by independent laboratories. At the same time, we continuously develop our manufacturing processes and recipes to meet the diverse needs of dogs and cats.
Remove the label from the can and throw it in the paper recycling bin.
Rinse out the can or tray. Dispose of it in the yellow bag or yellow bin.
In special processing plants, the can is crushed, melted and poured into molds.
New packaging is created from the old cans and trays in just 60 days.
Since we source a large portion of the raw materials for our production facility from the region and collaborate with local producers and slaughterhouses, we can guarantee short transport routes in some cases, thus contributing to the reduction of CO₂ emissions. Our own photovoltaic system generates a significant portion of the electricity we need for production. Any additional energy required is 100% green electricity, which we obtain from regional suppliers.
In 2023, the Aachen Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) awarded its first sustainability prize to companies from the region, recognizing their vegetable and insect menus. They described the products as "pioneers of sustainable practices"—we are proud of this award and look forward to further similar innovations in the future.
