For us, sustainable and ecological action does not just start with the production process, but also includes the raw materials used, packaging, transport, disposal and much more.
In order to give even more importance to the sustainability of our products, our product development team has worked intensively on improving the CO2 balance of the products.
Some processes in production and logistics have been optimized, which means we are saving large amounts of CO2. Of course, only under the premise that the quality of the products is guaranteed. Our products impress with the best food-grade ingredients and are produced without artificial additives.
Products and raw materials that are sourced or produced domestically mean shorter routes and reduce the ecological footprint. In addition, sustainable and ecological action begins with the raising and keeping of the animals for slaughter. We rely on our long-standing partnerships with regional suppliers. By working with regional farms and slaughterhouses in the region, short transport routes are ensured, which significantly increases animal welfare.
And to underline the ecological and sustainable aspects even better, we generate part of our electricity ourselves. We use our own photovoltaic system, which generates the electricity for production. The energy required beyond this is 100 percent green electricity, which we purchase from regional suppliers.
Climate protection is important to us and we would like to make a further active contribution to this by saving CO2. We are convinced that quality and sustainability are closely linked and do not describe a stage of development, but rather a process. That's why we work every day to improve our products for your and our own dogs and cats.
As a manufacturer of pet food with a close connection to our homeland, we have set ourselves the goal of combining animal welfare and environmental protection. In addition to acting sustainably in the production process, we go one step further:

Insects are an exceptional source of proteins and nutrients: the larvae of the black soldier fly in particular provide dogs with plenty of minerals and promote metabolism.
In addition, they leave a minimal ecological footprint thanks to their environmentally friendly and species-appropriate rearing. They form a 100 percent natural protein source that has not been altered through the use of antibiotics or genetic modifications.
