A dream for dog and cat owners will come true: With the "Create Your Own Product" campaign, the brands Mac's and Tundra invite you to have new wet feed varieties for dogs and cats.
"Our goal is to develop a dog and cat food that is not only healthy and nutritious, but also hits the taste of the animals," explains Managing Director Michael Koller from Pro Pet. "And who knows the taste of your own animal better than the owners?" With the “Create Your Own Product” campaign, the two premium brands Mac's and Tundra call up to put together their own feed according to the taste of the animal.
From development to label design
With the help of a questionnaire, participants in the first step can determine what the feed should contain: from the height and type of meat content to the selection of fruit and vegetables to functional ingredients for skin and fur or digestion can be freely decided. Mac's food for cats and a variety for dogs can be put together at Tundra.
The next step is to develop product development: The Pro Pet Koller team evaluates all submissions and develops two completely new wet feed from the most selected ingredients. The entire process is accompanied on the social channels of the two brands: with insight behind the scenes and regular updates. As soon as the recipes of the two new full foods have been determined, the community is again in demand: because not about the content, but also about the design of the label may be coordinated.
Creative freedom with pro pet values
Even if the two varieties can be freely designed, the brands remain true to their values: the new wet feed varieties will continue to be produced without grain, added sugar, artificial dyes, aroma substances and chemical preservatives. "The challenge is to create a feed that corresponds to both our beliefs and the selection of the community," says Michael Koller. Ingredients such as grain, animal sidelines or soy are therefore not queried in the questionnaires. "We are excited to see which varieties will come out and we look forward to working with the community."
