Through a Christmas-themed donation campaign in 2022, pet food manufacturer Pro Pet Koller was able to donate approximately 20,000 kilograms of wet pet food to 16 animal welfare organizations. In addition, the company delivered around 50,000 meals of pet food to Ukraine as part of its "Peace for Ukraine" initiative.
Pro Pet Koller has been committed to animal welfare organizations for years and supports volunteers in their work for the benefit of animals. In addition to numerous donations to animal shelters and foster homes, the company was able to donate over 20,000 kilograms of dog and cat food to 16 animal welfare associations in Germany through a Christmas donation campaign in 2022. Several hundred associations had applied for the donation via Facebook, and the recipients were subsequently selected by lottery.
50,000 meals for Ukraine
Back in the spring, Pro Pet was able to raise funds with two special edition "Peace for Ukraine" cans of MAC's pet food to help as many animals as possible in the crisis region. The company's expectations were far exceeded: the promotional cans sold out within a short time, and the target of 45,000 meals was increased by another 5,000. As a result, Pro Pet was able to deliver more than 50,000 meals for dogs and cats to animals in need in Ukraine last year, contributing to their well-being.

MAC’s Charity Boxing – The Forgotten e. V.
In addition to the Christmas campaign and the special edition cans for Ukraine, Pro Pet launched another initiative to donate to dogs and cats in need: By purchasing MAC’s Charity Boxes, customers could not only sample the brand’s outstanding products but also support a good cause. Two euros from each box sold went into a donation fund, which was then distributed to the animal welfare organization “Die Vergessenen e. V.” (The Forgotten). A total of 130 dog and cat boxes were sold between December and the end of January. Pro Pet increased the donation to 300 euros and also provided a food donation to the organization, which has been dedicated to helping elderly, traumatized, sick, or disabled animals since 2006.
