Pro Pet Koller stands for high-quality products, sustainable production, innovative development and healthy, species-appropriate nutrition. We have been selling pet food for dogs and cats in the super premium segment for almost 30 years.
Based in the Eifel, on the edge of the national park, we employ around 90 people at three different locations that are close together. The relationship to the region and sustainable action are just as important to us as the development of innovative products based on the latest nutritional and scientific knowledge.
Our brands are characterized by a very high meat content and high-quality ingredients. We have taken nature as a model for our products. All products are grain-free and contain no flavor enhancers or preservatives. The ingredients are subject to strict controls and are carefully processed in state-of-the-art production facilities so that vitamins and minerals are preserved. The health and well-being of your four-legged friend is our top priority. We develop natural complete foods that are specially tailored to the needs of your pet. We only use high-quality raw materials, almost exclusively from German slaughterhouses. These near-natural combinations ensure good acceptance, regular digestion and enjoyment of the feed. Based on natural nutrition, we work with a high proportion of meat and consistently avoid unnatural additives. The development and constant optimization of our range based on the latest scientific findings and the use of primarily German food-grade raw materials is also particularly important to us.

Our product lines are nutritionally balanced and grain-free. Only the best ingredients, a lot of fresh meat and fish in food quality as well as fruit and vegetables are turned into a species-appropriate diet through our gentle manufacturing process. This combination is exactly what our darlings need today.

Made in Germany begins with the rearing and husbandry of the animals for slaughter.
We rely on a long-term partnership with our suppliers. The animals come from both large German farmers and small farmers. Domestic products and raw materials enable shorter transport routes. These have a major impact on the sustainability of our products and influence our economic actions.
The company's success story began around 30 years ago with Canadian dry food, five sled dogs and the right instinct. Werner Koller began importing high-quality pet food from the USA and later from Canada.
At the same time, sons Michael and Markus ran sled dog races with their Alaskan huskies. Since huskies have to drink water before the race, a high-energy meat product for the special requirements of sporting dogs was developed together with a small butcher's shop in nearby Düren. The product was marketed under the name Pro Power as wet food to sled dog athletes. [...]
During production, we attach great importance to the quality of our products. The regional connection is very important to Michael and Markus Koller . For us, sustainable and ecological action does not begin with the production process, but also includes the raw materials used, packaging, transport, disposal and much more. For this reason, this has been an important part of our corporate philosophy and part of our product development for years.
In order to give the sustainability of our products even more weight, our product development department has worked intensively on improving the CO2 balance of the products. Some processes have been optimized in production and logistics, which saves us large amounts of CO2. Of course only under the premise that the quality of the products is guaranteed. Our products impress with the best ingredients in food quality and are produced without artificial additives.
Products and raw materials that are sourced or produced domestically mean shorter distances and reduce the ecological footprint. In addition, for us, sustainable and ecological action begins with the rearing and husbandry of the animals for slaughter. Here we rely on our long-standing partnerships with regional suppliers. By working with local farmers and slaughterhouses, short transport routes are guaranteed, which significantly increases animal welfare.
In order to underline the ecological and sustainable aspects even better, we generate part of our electricity ourselves. We use our own photovoltaic system, which produces the electricity for production. Any additional energy required is 100 percent green electricity, which we obtain from regional suppliers. Climate protection is important to us and we would like to make a further active contribution to this with this reduction in CO2. We are convinced that quality and sustainability are closely linked and do not describe a state of development, but a process. That's why we work every day to improve our products for your and our own dogs and cats.
